From your hotel in Yogyakarta (or Magelang) a local English speaking guide picks you up and by private car you drive to the village 'Kembang Kuning'. Before we've reached the village you pass some stunning green rice teraces. At Kembang Kuning the car is parked and you continue with your guide. It's a short walk though this typical and beautiful located village to the entrance of Candi Selogriyo. An approx. 45 min walk through magnificent landscape awaits you. for the wal you do not reallyneed a guide it is a path and you cannot get lost. However the guide helps you communicate with the locals you meet; people in the village or farmers working their land.

Also once at Selogriyo the guide can explain the temple. Selogriyo is a well kept small Hindu temple a perfect place to meditate or enjoy a coffee in silence with stunning views. You get the best experience if you are there early morning or late afternoon. When finished you walk back to the village and we take you back to (your) hotel.
