Jakarta city by Car

By car you visit Sunda Kelapa, Fatahillah square and Monas (Monumen Nasional). We start at the 'old' harbour of Batavia; Sunda Kelapa. You can still see traditional ships (phenisi) from Sulawesi delivering their dry goods tothe local suppliers. Early morning it is still very busy with day labors handling the cargo. Usually you can also board one of these phenisi and see the inside. After a short walk in Sunda Kelapa harbour the car drives you to the nearby Fatahillah square.

We drive via Pasar Hoenderbrigde. At the square you can visit a museum. Finally you can enjoy coffee or tea in Batavia Cafe then we drive on through the modern city passed some old buildings to Indonesia's National Monument. From the top (puncak) yohave great views over the city and the museum gives some inside in the history of Indonesia. After your visit to Monas we drive you back to your hotel.
