Sunrise Setumbuh Borobudur

We drive you from your hotel in Yogyakarta to Bukit Setumbu (a mountain with views to Borobudur) in Magelang. It is a short hour drive. From the parking lot It is an approx. 30 min. walk up to get the good view. From Bukit Setumbu you await the sunrise with Borobudur in the back ground. Once the sun is up we drive you back to Borobudur to visit the impressive Budhist sight - Borobudur. At the entrance you can hire a local guide (optional at own expense). Your guide takes you along the reliefs and explanes the history and (historic) impact of Borobudur to his area. After your guided tour there is time to walk around and get the pictures you want or just enjoy the spiritual atmosphere of the complex.

At the parking lot you find your car and driver and we drive you back to (your hotel in) Yogyakarta.
